I know, I know! So not appetizing…The Boo loves them though and apparently it’s getting sweeter and sweeter by the day! You can see in my other post why I have, what looks like a rotten banana, sitting on my counter.
Did you know that bananas and plantains have been used by many people around the world as anti-wrinkle cream? Yep, it’s true! You’re supposed to mash about 1/4 of the fruit until it become a sort of paste, rub it on your face and leave it on for 15-20 minutes.
Hmm…I guess you learn something new everyday!

Whipped up some quick veggies today after work

I’m really excited–tomorrow night I’m going to attempt to make FRIES out of a Rutabaga! I don’t think I’ve actually every tried one before, so this should interesting…
I’m headed to the gym now to work it out and try to do some running! I’ve been thinking about setting a goal for myself…maybe a marathon or something to push me a little?!

Holy smokes, your farmers market post made me so hungry! And I totally agree, half the fun of going are all those amazing samples! I’m not too familiar with the San Diego area, but we’ve driven down before to go to the farmer’s market in Little Italy (my husband is a musician, and has played at that one) – it’s a good one to go too, as well.
I’m anxious to hear about the rutabaga fries!
good luck with your fries tomorrow!!!
Ha I won’t judge your banana…sometimes mine scare the ish out of people on my blog but damn they taste good ha
Have a great workout!
Hello! I’m excited I found your blog….I live in San Diego too!
I want to sign up for a race SO BADLY but I’m afraid if I push it, I’ll kill my shins. I need some motivation though!
Rutabaga fries? Can’t wait to see how they turned out!
So did you rub that banana on your face? I’ve never heard of such a thing..but knowing me, I’d probably try it, lol.
Hello
All that food looks so, so good.
I am stunned by how fantastic your farmers market looks! WOW. Another reason I wish I lived in San Diego
